I led a team in the development of a new Security Technology product for the Void/Vacant Property Sector.

A Security Company called Select Group hired my business to design, develop, and manufacture this product from the ground up.

I led a team of Product Design Engineers and other specialists to gather requirements and then come up with initial concepts. Once a concept was selected, I led a range of partners in developing that concept to an actual physical product.

We did a number of things for the first time, including:

• Working with Plastic rather than Steel, as the business usually used

• Using a new production method (Rotomoulding)

• Developing a new hardware product for a new industry

The Product was launched in September 2025 at a highly successful launch event, and 100 units were commissioned in the first 3 months. The product got the Client (Select Group) nominated for the Innovation in Business awards by the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, which they were a finalist for.
